I am sure I heard on breakfast TV today that if you are in an internet cafe or anywhere where you can get free wi-fi there is now a device which can be used to get all your personal details from your phone even if it is in your pocket and switched off. Did anyone else hear this as I told my daughter and she said I was hearing things. Hope I was actually :0( -rosy
Me again, how do I sent her the link please Chris? I copy and paste the address on the article and then tried the same with the link you posted, but both times it shows up in black on my email so won't open. (Windows 7) I have never been able to do it -rosy
The software update for this problem was released before this article was printed.
IOS 7.0.6 or IOS 6.1.6 is available for download. on your iPhone go to settings/general/software update to update your phone and remove the problem
Sorry for the delay in replying, Rosy. (I've spent the last 3 hours dealing with cat & kitten problems). I'd simply right-click on my link and select 'Copy Link Location'. (That's what is says in Firefox. It might be different with other browsers). Then right-click within an email and select 'Paste'. If that's not working I'm totally baffled!
Thank you for that Chris, it worked a treat :o) Hope your kitties are o.k. now.Thank you too Milvus for the update, I will send it to my daughter. Yes I read that too Everhelpful and I was given an aluminium credit card holder which is supposed to combat it,don't know if it works but it is quite handy to use anyway - at least I can zip my purse up now! cheers rosy
