my HP printer 970cxi started only printing part of the words. I replaced both cartridges and it printed 2 pages I thought that was it but no it's missing part of the words again. Anyone any ideas what could be wrong?

It might be worth Trying the HP Print & Scan Doctor.

Thanks for replies. Methyl it is the right ink and yes it is old think I bought it 2001 but very rarely used it. It is missing characters within the words.
