I am very slowly getting to grips with Outlook 2013, but I cannot find my address book, to check on the contacts therein and as Outlook 2013 is ribbon-lead, rather than plain keystrokes, I'm at a bit of a loss how to find my way around, especially as I use a screen reader, not a mouse, so any clicking would be of no use. Anyone help? Ta Muchly.

Many Thanks Scrivens, the control, shift and b worked fine to get me into search and go, but there was no actual listing of names etc...though some may have been lost when copied from one machine to this...but I'll 'see' what the Tools/address book gives. Thanks again.
I fear your address-book is empty. Where was it held before Outlook 2013?
Question Author
Maydup, my address book can't be empty, because I can begin typing an email address and up it comes, the email address I mean - lol - but some addresses are not there and before Outlook 2013, my address book was in Outlook Express on another machine.
Alas, the ability to complete an email address without you finishing typing it, is not linked to your address book. It simply means you've emailed that person before and Outlook automatically keeps a shortcut for you. They need not be in your address book for that to happen.

It sounds to me that you need to copy the address book from you old machine onto your new machine. I could probably do it, but am not confident enough to walk you through it. Perhaps now that others are logged in here for the evening, one of them will help you.

Many Thanks for that enlightenment Maydup, trouble is, my old machine doesn't exist anymore, so I'll just have to enter what contacts I remember and of course, any replies I make mean that that email address is automatically entered into my address book....is that right?...but Thanks again.
For any replies, right click on the address and choose Add to Contacts. They won't be added automatically you will need to pop them in as you go.
