Photos On Memory Stick

I downloaded my holiday images on to a stick to enable them to be shown on my TV, however any images that had been cropped or manipulated (using photoshop) would not show. Why ? and is there any way round this ? Any help would be appreciated.

You may have saved them in a different file format.

They were saved as jpegs, should I have saved them differently ?

You may have saved them as CMYK images for printing rather than RGB for screen display.

Or you saved them with layers

Or the resolution is higher than 72dpi
