My Parents Have Blocked My Line By Not Putting Their Phone Back How Do I Unblock It

My stupid old parents phoned me and have not put the phone down properly and they are blocking my line completely I have tried playing loud music beside the phone and everything how do I clear my line

Can you ring a neighbour and ask them to go round and tell them? If the phone line's still open, it'll be costing them!

Phone BT using your mobile? Is there a chat facility on the internet where you can contact BT (or equivalent)?

Ring them on their mobiles - if they have mobiles. Or if they're local, go and tell them.

After a time the line should automatically cut off and they will hear a loud 'howling noise'.

This happened to me ages ago. had to ring my sons neighbour to pop across the road and tell him tp put his phone back down.
No mobiles in them days.

It is sorted now I hope they dont get infirm and old I will shove them in a nursing home and visit them once a month

Gordie, Atrial fibrillation isn't life threatening just unpleasant to live with, if you lose the weight your type 2 diabetes will likely disappear or improve drastically and likewise your cholestrol problem. Don't write yourself off, do something about it and then live a long and happy life.

I'm a 62 year old and a type 2 diabetic for last 4 years, I keep my weight down, do plenty of walking with the boys in my avatar and a bit of weight training, and am careful what I eat and drink, I have not taken any Medicine at all for it.
I control it with exercise and diet, you could do the same!

Maybe some of Gordie's comments have been taken a bit too literally (it is possible that the remarks about her parents were just a bit flippant)? I would quite happily have shoved my mother in an old folks home if she hadnt popped her clogs when she did (but it would have been a cheap one).
