I want to take a photo from Facebook and either save on desktop or send by email, but no idea how to right click and there is nothing to right click! am confused!

When you open up a photo on FB, there will be an options tab down on the right hand corner of the photo. You need to select download there and save onto your PC. You can then email it from there.

I hope that makes sense, I can't get onto my own FB to make sure that's exactly right!

thank you will have a go, it's just that my email on my laptop will not accept my password and my sister wants me to send her a photo, so I thought I could do it from tablet, but can't "save it" so will try it now.

No need for a screenshot.
As 2sp says, when you tap on a photo to open it three little dots in a stack appear underneath the photo. Tap on that and tap save or share, whichever you want.

Clik ont picture, Run the edge of ur hand across the screen and a copy will be filed in your album. Open email, click attachment & find piccy in your album.

Yes have just taken a screenshot, same as on my android phone. Now as to these photos, yes when the photo is in my Gallery I can do what you suggest, but when it is from daughter's Facbook page, I cannot save or send it anywhere.
