Morning all Nice day ,bright and sunny earlier but turned a bit hazy now. It's not exactly heatwave temps either as they say in the papers. That Billy Connolly prog is very good.I enjoyed that. I hope it'll get better at some stage Neti.I'm a bit cheesed off it with all to be honest.

Midnight here and I've just got home after an evening out watching Fuschias daughter playing in her band. They have had a fund raising night for Bowel Cancer and raised around £700.Close to my heart at the mo. It was in a lovely old pub near where I used to live as a youngster. It was a really good night. Lots of singing and dancing which cheered me up and helped me to put things in 'perspective'. I even won a bottle of Prosecco.
Tomorrow I'm going to catch up with your posts. Hope you're all tucked up in bed and fast asleep as I will be soon.
enjoy the prosecco Jude. I have just managed to get the boys in and settled as some rather cheerful young men were in the main road singing. I am glad you feel more cheerful and well done Fuchsia’s daughter and band :)

Good morning all. Well it is carnival day in Ibiza but pouring down. I am staying in bed as it's still, very cold. My leg is so painful after having 3 attacks of cramp 3 days ago,,why does it do that?
Glad you had a good time jude it's about time you jigged about again.
Shaney I think my achey hips were just because I felt so rotten and could hardly walk as had no energy. Sinking back under the covers at 10am on Friday was the most wonderful feeling in the world at the time, I've been here ever since.
Question Author
Don't know hope you cope with your leg day after day!
Fed us with feeling like this, I'm not ill just can't to anything, takes too much effort.. I normally love dashing about and doing things.
good morning we had a really noisy rattly night here. The dogs have gone from being scared of the wind to wanting to go out and hunt the wind monster all night which is lovely but doesn’ t make for a peaceful night’s sleep.

Rain stopped but there's a helluva wind blowing out there. I had a hot bath and washed hair as I needed inexpensive by golly, but back in bed as felt dizzy. Yesterday they inaugurated the first crematorium , Mr N suggested we go to see it, not likely ! the way I'm feeling I would probably stay there.
We even have rock n rio in the main street today all live groups playing at different bars at different times , wouldn't normally miss it for the world but just can't face it!
Question Author
.Rock n rio is not a typo it is a play on words with the village name. Means rock n river
Goodness Neti, you must feel bad....stay in bed and rest and feel better soon.
Question Author
I needed it by golly, nothing about inexpensive, honestly I give up, is it my typing or my equipment!!
Morning/afternoon...it has been bright but the clouds keep gathering and there's an annoying cold wind again. Non stop rain yesterday, it was abysmal, I'm not sure how much more the gardens can take.

I know it's a bind shaney but I'm pleased they're sending you to see someone at the hospital, it's about time, and hopefully they'll have you sorted pdq.

Neti it sounds to me like you've got a flu type virus and on top of your other problems it's going to make you feel lousy. You've got to be patient, listen to your body and take it easy. Several times with this one I've had I've stood looking through the window and even if Prof Cox had been out there in a limo, waiting to show me the stars, I'd have said no thanks. I forgot to do the lotto until it was too late one evening and I couldn't have cared less if I'd have won.(I wouldn't have) I'd have been *** livid if I would have won when I felt a bit better though. :)

Pleased you're feeling better Jude and well done the fund raisers.
Hello all
Still blowing a gale but at least it's dry and fairly mild here .Storm Imogen on it's way now so they say.The next one will begin with J. Yes it'll be storm Jacqui ..lol,if things don't improve !
Hope you're feeling a bit better now Neti .I only thought it might be something arthritic 'cos I get the screamers and feverishness when I get a flare up.
Nice to see you again Jude ,well done for raising all that money ,enjoy your wine.No inkahol here I'm afraid with all these painkillers I keep swigging down me.
Yes I hope they hurry up and get it looked at Robinia .It's getting very wearing now day after day.The normal aches are pains are bad enough and with this on top it's a double whammy.
KBO folks.

Oh not more storms, they always begin with the same two letters in my head - F W. :) It's blowing like hell now.
I've done very little today, some knitting and watched Steel Magnolias on dvd...in my dreams they do a remake and I play Shirley Mclanes's character.
Haven't done much either ,we've just had our dinner. Stir fry ,anything quick lately.I really ought to get my knitting going again or this jumper will be finished circa 2020.
I've been reading a lot lately though, only 15 more books to read in this 35 book saga:) It's brilliant ,wish I'd read it years ago.I didn't think I'd like it being a crime fiction junkie but I've learnt more about british ,american and french history than I ever did at school.

Just seen Call the midwife, gosh how much sadness can we take, had me in tears.
Going to try to watch Vera on +1 but it may take too long.
I'll say oight oight to you all.
Hope we are all well and happy tomorrow.
I made a birthday card for my sis, not visiting sis, middle sis. I also made an orange loaf cake but i over beat the batter and it came out like a bath sponge. Will try again with more orange zest and less beating.
yEs a very sad CTM tonight. Am saving Vera for tomorrow, watching sport bakeoff which I video’d earlier. Its really noisy here so I think its going to be a late TV watching night tonight.
Rain's been lashing against the windows. The barometer's dropped so far back it's on the 'build an ark' marker.
It's awful here .Blasting away, rattling down the chimleys. Bldy fed up with it now day in day out.It makes me feel all nervy.I bet your boys are fed up with it too Woofy.
I watched Vera and I'll catch up with the other programmes tomorrow.
I see Grantchester is on again soon.I like that.More James Norton ,can't be bad. He's in demand lately.
Sleep toight ..if you can in this lot .Night all.

Storm travelled right over us about an hour ago. Seriously thought it might have trashed a shed but so far so good. Dogs didn’t like it but settled quickly once it went over. Tomorrow looks delightful. I am going to have another drink and watch Vera. Oight oight all. Feel better tomorrow.
I thought Imogen wasn't supposed to be along till tomorrow but we've had lashings of rain and howling winds here (currently taking a breather but due to restart in 14 minutes). Tomorrow it's just spotty showers. I hope everyone has a wind-free night.
