Morning all Nice day ,bright and sunny earlier but turned a bit hazy now. It's not exactly heatwave temps either as they say in the papers. That Billy Connolly prog is very good.I enjoyed that. I hope it'll get better at some stage Neti.I'm a bit cheesed off it with all to be honest.

Morning all
Cold and crisp out there .
We never had a car either Neti ,or a telephone .I liked the kitchen too.
My Mum also had one of those smelly floor mops .I used to have to mop under the bed with it then shake it out of the window. We weren't very affluent at all in those days. What I wanted I had to buy myself and got a Saturday job to do so.Sandie Shaw still looks good.
My night wasn't too good .I wasn't dreaming .I was dashing...

Ba know from Mexico. No x rays or scan result available as Internet connection to hospital down! Have to go back on Tuesday. Bloods reveal a bit too much sugar (that'll be the Everton mints then!) and I have a light flu like virus which is on the wane. He's says arm definitely has a swelling but he cant be sure until he sees it. He is also going to look at nose scan which will be interesting, so rest up, drink lots of fluids and paracetamol if needed. He has removed quite a lot of unnecessary medicines from my medical card, now I'm panicking, what if I need them although haven't used them for 3 years!
Definitely feel a lot better although arm is aching. Eye is streaming again cos of nose , feel a bit of a mess. Met old women friends for coffee and had a laugh.
We always had a telephone but was 5253 and the local theatre was 5352, so lots of confused calls, and never a party line, my mum was a bit of a snob! We're never allowed to sleep with vest or knickers on only pj's as body had to breathe. Oh those freezing beds with utility blankets on and my dressing gown on the top.

Morning, back to cold, grey & wet.
I grew up in a death trap, paraffin heaters, rugs on polished floors, Ascot water heater (nearly killed us). I'm a walking miracle.
Not sleeping well at the moment and when I woke up (late) there were crumbs in the bed. I haven't eaten anything in bed. Now I find one of my hairbrushes has gone missing. Curiouser and curiouser.
Hope everyone's feeling cock-a-hoop/ok/better.

hello all Robi, did you find the hairbrush? A set of my garage keys has gone missing, I am blaming the pixies. Shughy has now decided that the garage is full of something huntable so we were late to bed last night. He did enjoy it bless him. We went out to M and S shopping this morning so I have got the valentines day dine in. I had the starter (mussels) tonight for dinner and there is still steak and chips for tomorrow. I did easy home made bread with it which was amazing. You stir the dough ingredients together, let it rise once then bung it in the fridge for a week or so. then pull it out again to warm up, plonk it in a baking tin, let it rise again and bake it. It was delicious, smelt and tasted of popcorn and a little bit sharp.
A'noon all...no carousing here, it's way too bloomin' cold. It's bleak, windy and a perishing rf of 0C, it cuts right though. Just when I thought my head/sinuses were better yesterday my ears suddenly started aching something awful and the tinnitus went off the scale. Went to bed at half past eight and watched Mr S but I think I missed the end.
Yes woofy, I found the brush in a cupboard. It wasn't too far away from where it should have been but since my hormones were cruelly snatched away I think I've been turning into a man...I can't see anything I'm looking for and I can't multi task. On the plus side I did turn a drawer out and found my sunglasses (ha bloomin ha) and a particular allen key I was desperately looking for when I did the reshuffle and decorating last year. Everyday's a new experience here :)
Good luck jno....it was the awful prep that put me off and why I compromised and had the enema (at the hospital) for the halfway job. Not pleasant but bearable.
KBO with the ailments...£32 million tonight, that should sort us out.

last time I had the prep it had hardly any effect, Robinia. I'm a litre and a half into this one and so far nothing today either, but I must have been half empty anyway as my insides have been so busy lately. Anyway, I'm waiting patiently. I'll start part 2 in another hour or so, but in the mean time it's solitaire for me.
