42" L E D Television, H D

Would welcome any thoughts, experiences, pros/cons of LED TV's as I am giving consideration to buying this:

@snags... Despite the fact that I fail to appreciate why folk need to have a 42inch set in normal domestic surroundings, I say quite seriously,, if you feel a big one is important for entertainment purposes, then don't hang about, go get it whilst it is still on offer.

Also read again my earlier comments in this thread, as confirmation of my opinions about the TV concerned.
