Good morning all, I have bought a new laptop and I have a password to log on to it at start up, I have a password to connect to a Microsoft account but if I want to open Calendar then I am prompted for another password , neither of the other two work. I presume I have done something wrong when I set things up. is there anyway that I can open these Applications without a password or is there a way I can find what this 'local password' might be?... Thanks for any help, I am frustrated.!!

Pure guess but, if the calendar is part of the e-mail client might it be your e-mail password it's requiring ? If so, then maybe there's a setting there, to remember the password, you need to tick.

Thanks for the ideas but Calendar is a Windows application I think and not part of e mail, struggling with this one

it would appear that when I set up my laptop for the first time I elected to sign in to apps individually (not recommended so they say)so I hadn't got a 'local password', it turns out I can log into Calendar and the like by using a Microsoft account password, now having opened calendar I don't think I will be using it. Thanks for your suggestions though
