Spell Checker Not Flagging Up

Laptop....Windows 8.2......Chrome.....Outlook.com

Spellchecker is on "enabled", BUT....it isn't flagging up.

Any ideas folks?

Not on US American is it ? i find PC's have a sick sense of humor and continually change away from English to annoy.

Also some decide it's amusing to ignore words where a mysterious digit has decided to insert itself unnoticed.

Spelling Checker

I have a spelling chequer,
It came with my pea see.
It plane lee marques for my revue
Miss steaks eye cannot see.

Each thyme when eye have struck the quays
I weight for it to say
If watt I rote is wrong or rite;
It shows me strait a weigh.

As soon as a miss take is maid
It nose be four two late,
and I can put the err or write
As this rime demon straights.

I’ve run this poem threw it;
I’m shore your policed to no
It’s letter perfect in its weigh;
My chequer tolled me sew.

tools/options/advanced....tick spellchecker.....or leave it to pharmacists, theyre experienced ;)

I don`t know anything about Chrome and I don`t know anything about spellcheckers but on internet forums, somebody said that Chrome`s dictionary is updated every day and a firewall could block the update and then it won`t work. Someone also said that their spell checker is rubbish and you can tick a setting that askes Google for suggestions so maybe that might be worth a try.
