how do I get a ringtone on my phone (a pre-installed one) copied to a Samsung or is it not possible?

I don't THINK it's possible (Watch some smart alec come along and rain on my parade...), however it's not impossible.

If you know that name of it, you could go to YouTube, type the name into the search box and see if it comes up. If it does, you could use your browser search box and type in YouTube downloader, and use one of those programs to convert your video into an mp3 format file that you could put onto your Samsung. I've got an iPod Touch and I can't get the tones from that to my PC, so you may be in the same boat-ish.
