Help Required Setting Up Apple Ipad2
30 Answers
My wife bought a 2nd hand ipad2. The seller had wiped it clean, so as we could start afresh. The seller said the best way to go forward was to get on to iTunes.
Eventually we realised it had to be downloaded onto our computer, which we did. We've got as far as successfully updating the ipad. Next we are prompted to choose a Wi-Fi network. The one highlighted is our modem, DSL-2640R.
When we click on this, up comes " Enter Password". This is where the problem is, i.e., what password ? There is no " Forget password "option, so we are at a dead end. Please help !

Try my suggestion of creating a wireless password - remember to connect the computer to the router by cable first!
Passwords are case sensitive.
You may also have a button to push on the router that has to be pushed just before you enter the password on the iPad
You could also turn off the wireless security temporarily and get the ipad to connect to ensure that your router and the ipad actually agree!. Then turn it back on and setup the wireless password
