In outlook, usually when you type an address, after the first few letters it will try to guess what address you are writing in and provide a smart tag type thing, so that you don't have to go to your address book everytime.  However mine has stopped doing this - I now have to go to my address book everytime, as it is no longer predicting the addres I am writing - anyone know why thi shas stopped or how to activate it again?

goto email accounts, view/change address books:

then delete the address books that are there (dont worry, this does not delete your info)

exit outlook

restart outlook

then goto email accounts and add new directory or address book. Add additional address book. then add the outlook address book.

You will need to restart outlook.

Try that, it is a fiddly proccess which doesnt always work first time (for some reason).

For more info, this is mentioned in the outlook help files.

best of luck
