As Old_G says, Maplins will be your best bet, possibly Curry's too or Tandy - all high street stores, as you mention no online as no address at present.
I have seen them in Wilkinsons too and numerous shops that specialize in selling a bit of everything.

You have asked for transformers. Transformers supply AC output, is that what you want? Or do you want 12V DC output. Be very careful when you buy.

Also try a caravan component supplier. Most electrical fittings in a mobile caravan require 12 volts DC, and when on site the van can be connected to a 230 volt AC supply so a transformer supplying 12 volt DC is required.
