Emails Won't Open

Friend has an IPad mini. The incoming emails are listed on the left but when she taps on one they do not open. The right hand side is blank. She can access her emails on laptop/PC. The internet connection is OK.

Any suggestions? Cheers.

Try switching the power off for ten seconds then switch on again. Not technical but usually does the trick.

Or Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Drag the slider to turn your device completely off. After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
You will then need the passcode.

Thanks peeps. Switching on/off didn't work I'm afraid so will get friend to try Jomlett's suggestion.
