need to download a dll file???

I've tried to download a new driver for my printer due to having problems. When I try to download a new driver I keep getting a message saying File E_DMAI14.DLL IS NEEDED.

Where do I go to download this file for free can I do this?

I think the best thing to do is to reinstall the driver and when the error comes up try to browse for it in the the folder where the files were extracted to. Failing this go back to the manufacturers website and browse the FAQ page to see if there is a known problem, if so check to see if a patch is available. You say that you have downloaded updated drivers but what about updated printer software as sometimes this is a separate download and usually over 25MB in size?

Even if you could find the file on the internet you might still have problems trying to work out which folder to place it in.

If you can't solve the problem any other way, you might need to completely uninstall the printer and start everything from scratch.

It looks as if the DLL file you require is for an Epson printer. If so, remember that Epson's support pages are far better than most other manufacturer's:
