im on windows 10 was on 8.1 not much difference IMO yes things have changed a bit same as when i went from 7 to 8.1 soon pick up whats where on the plus side its free later in year its going to cost you if you want it
I'm not a great fan of W10, and wouldn't advise someone on 7 to upgrade, but it's definitely an improvement on 8 and 8.1.
(I have 3 machines running 10, one running 8.1, and one running 7. This is because, as a software developer, I need to know that my software is going to work on all of them).
i think its a positive move but only if you do it right. I never did 8.1 because it looked to much like they were trying to emulate a mobile phone. If you decode to do it i`ll be happy to forward you a walkthrough which should should avoid the majority of issues complained of here.
