In a Web browser, sign in to Amazon and go to "Manage Content and Devices" Click on the "Settings" tab Go to the part "Households and family library" Click on "Learn more" where it tells you how to add 1 adult and a max of 2 kids and create a Family Library.

Glad this Q came up naomi.

Would it be possible to send a kindle from my laptop to a friends Ipad?
Swop Kindles ?

Thanks very much for your answers. Sorry I can't answer your question, trt. Hopefully someone else will be able to.
Naomi...pass your right hand, with Kindle attached, over to Hubby, and he can pass his Kindle over to you at the same time...sharing made easy !
I suspect such sharing would normally be a form of theft. It's okay to give away a physical book, but to share a Kindle book means that two - and ultimately infinite numbers - of them are now in circulation while only one has been paid for. So they do have an exception for family sharing, but not as far as I know for friends, otherwise even more authors would starve.

jno, I've discovered that sharing books between adults is restricted to two people. No chance of infinite numbers.

Mikey, not an option for people who live busy lives.
Question Author
jno ..... and if you want to change your 'sharer' you have to wait six months.
I agree, Naomi. I'm just trying to explain why, and guessing that trt will only be able to share with great difficulty.
