Recyle Bin

Where do items go when you delete from the recyle bin? Can they be recovered? The option to do this is greyed out. Thanks.

Once deleted from the bin they are on the drive for now, but flagged as available to be overwritten.

If you haven't written to the disk since then some restore type applications can get them back; maybe. Do not install them on the drive in question.

I say that, I'm unsure if the oldest in the bin are already overwritten as space becomes needed. but it's worth a try getting them back.
