Humax Freeview Play Recorder

I do a lot of recording and thought that the Humax FVP-4000T would suit my needs as it allows recordings of 4 programmes at the same time. However, this box has turned out to be a disappointment as, although, doing what it says on the box, the machine freezes each time I try to turn it on and it generally takes around 10 minutes just to access it, including having to reboot each time. Can anyone recommend a similar machine which I can exchange this one for ?

If it's faulty why not get it sorted under the warranty ?

I do intend taking it back under the warranty but have been dismayed to see on other reviews of the product that some people have had to have theirs replaced up to 4 times !
