Ipad Won't Charge

Never had a problem with it. Have come to stay at my daughters for two days and when low I out I put it on charge. Checked few hours later and still on 34%. Thinking maybe dodgy socket I swapped to another one - still won't charge. Borrowed her charger and still won't charge mine! Any bright ideas? Was perfectly find when I left home.

let it discharge fully then retry....not good to keep topping up

You've tried a different charger, but have you also tried different cables?

Also, her charger may look the same, byt be a different current. My ipad 4 charger is higer current than my ipad 1 charger.

Different cables, plugs, is now completely flat. Have managed to get home(3 hr drive)plugged into charge again and just seeing what happens in nxt hr or so

Before I left home my new mobile phone charger was playing up and so I was testing various cables on other chargers in the house to see what the issue .
was. Then I've apparently picked up a Samsung phone charger instead of the IPad one and taken that away! And when that didn't work I was trying all other cables and chargers at my daughters which obv didn't work either. I genuinely assumed that if a charger fitted then it would charge. Clearly not??

If it's an Apple iPad they only work with apple chargers. I bought a cheap one from eBay that was supposed to be compatible but it didn't work :(

Snowball...have you thought of getting a car charger as well as your home charger ? I recharge my iphone 6 in the car all the time, as well as my personal DAB radio.

Recently I bought an inverter from Maplins, which I can charge a variety of things, in the same way I do at home....it is, in effect, an universal charger.

If you look at my earlier post you'll see that I mentioned the current.

To give an example my brothers phone charger and my ipad 1 charger don't have enough current to charge a TomTom, but my ipad 4 charger does.
