No Sound With Appliance Demos.

I am looking at demos (or trying to) of various home appliances. I cannot get the sound although the audio is working ok otherwise. Any suggestions?

WHERE are you 'looking at demos'? (On Youtube? On the manufacturer's website? Somewhere else?)

WHAT TYPE of device are you using? (A Windows phone? An Android tablet? An iPad? Something else?)

Some of those sites have an independent volume control or mute facility Percy, do you have it enabled or the volume slider turned up?

As Togo points out, there might be a volume control (and/or mute button) within a web page. For example, it's easy to accidentally click on the mute button on a Youtube video:

Once you've done that, all other Youtube videos will play with the sound off until you click again to un-mute the sound.
