little pop up box keeps on telling me firefox hardrive updater, but last time. admittedly it was ages ago, wiped out my tool bars a nd stuff, should i let it update?
hope this makes sense.

Current version of Firefox is 51.0.1, whats yours?
Look in 'Help/About Firefox' on the Menu bar
Not heard of a 'firefox hardrive updater'

I had no problems updating to 51.0.1; but you don't normally have to do anything, it's automatic (maybe I ticked auto-update somewhere). But I would be wary of this one, unless someone can come along and tell you it's okay. I've never heard of a hard-drive updater either.

me neither, but it pops up everytime i log on.
