Having a weird problem with smartphone
well it's a couple of years old and I use it as a spare phone so have not used it that much of late. but suddenly find WI-Fi is not recognised. my Wi-Fi is not listed in the Wi-Fi list but all the other networks around here are. I doubt isi my Wi-Fi connection as my other phone, computer and tablet recognise my Wi-Fi no problem. so it's obviously something to do with the phone , most peculiar. only thing I can think of as I don't use it that much, I removed the SD expansion card on which some applications were stored they are still listed as icons on the phone but obviously don't work as SD card is removed, so I don't know if that would affect anything re wifi,?

So try changing the channel used by your router. (If you need instructions please tell us the make & model of your router)

No idea make of router is supplied by the local cable company. I'm in Caribbean country at the moment and anything internet related is pretty crap and primitive in any case. not to mention outrageously expensive. a lousy 1.5 mbps for 40 dollars.. and often don't even get that more like 1.1. for that price in Europe could get 25 times that Speed. also tried the other day to use the data connection, and looking at that barely worked either. although have a European SIM card in there from CZ and had to use roaming I would still expect better speed, so maybe just the phone is faulty... it's a mystery ☺
