Sony Bravia Tv

For no apparent reason this am my TV got stuck on the on line news reports page, then got stuck on BBC1, can't access any other channels, just blank pages the handbook is of little help to me, any ideas?

if its a smart bravia,unplug and leave for 5 mins then start it up again ,when all else fails remember the old trick switch it off ... switch it back on again
(even pilots in aircraft have done that trick)

Thanks for that, been out for a couple of hours, switched TV off, when I switched it on again it seems to be working perfectly OK again!

My SMART TV had a fit like that so I pulled the plug on it left it a few hours replugged and it was back to normal. Or just unplug the router for 20 mins. that works for sulky computers and stroppy mobiles too.

Thanks for that Dance, obviously it had a hissy fit this am, left it alone (switched off!) and when I came back and tried it all OK, and still is. Didn't realise it had a brain like my know all computer, anyway it's OK now and if it tries this again I'll just rip its plug out!
