He wanted to make a couple of frames for the back of his ute to mount a luggage rack on. All finished, painted and fitted. 38c isn't the ideal climate for that sort of activity, but, it's always good getting into a project with him.
Good morning wbmxx and Iozzy xx just looked out frosty here too again but not so bad as yesterday car park was a sheet of ice . Hope your car passes . Just done mine all ok again .have a good day
For the first time I done an on line shop from asda and I was amazed at how many carrier bags there were with hardly anything in them one just had a packet of biscuits and another a pack of baking potatoes and none of them full .but the nice man carried them all through the to kitchen .
He is setting this vehicle up nicely for camping. We made two sliding racks that clip in with cam locks, one hold a fridge the other a gas cooker. Open the tailgate, slide them out, rotate one 90 degrees left, the other to the right, the tailgate then is used for the kitchen bench.
Having the overhead rack means he doesn't need to empty the tray to roll his swag out. He and his girlfriend sleep under the stars in the back of the ute away from snakes and other creepy crawlies.
Morning all, hard frost here in the land of the blue.
Early start to a week of 12 hour shifts but the boss has been up and put the heating on so not all bad.
Just waiting for the nightshift driver to phone saying he's on his way and we're off.
Weather forecast says back to double figures very soon and for the week to come. :-)
