I'm thinking of getting a new fitbit. Currently have the app on my old, slow nexus tablet. I'd like to install the app on my Samsung galaxy tab s2...but on Playstore I get the message "the app may not be optimised for this device", though I can install it. What exactly does this mean. I can't install it on my android phone as it's a rubbish model with zero memory...:-(

A bit of googling suggests that the message you're seeing is often linked to apps which can rotate the display on some Android devices but not on others. (i.e. although the app will work normally in portrait mode, the screen won't rotate into landscape mode).

So hopefully it's not something that will affect the information I want from the app...?
"Suck it and see" seems to be the only valid answer to me.
