Laptop Getting On My Nerves
5 Answers
My Laptop was working okay this morning. I went for a snooze as I felt ill. When I got back the Laptop was playing up. Clicking on a link took me to a new window instead of a new tab. (I realise that this isn't a major problem but it is annoying).
I went into Firefox options and didn't see any way of fixing the problem.
I shut the Laptop down, left it and then restarted it. It wanted to go into Safe Mode - which I did but it started playing up again. I shut it down and left it for a while.
I have restarted it again successfully and it seems to be working okay - apart from the fact that every time I click a link it opens a new window instead of a new tab.
Where do I fix this?

Chris - I did the bit in brackets earlier and didn't think that it has worked, but have just tested it and it works fine now.
I like Firefox but am finding that locating an add-on for 'autofill' is difficult. I have installed a few over the last few weeks only to have Firefox tell me that is is a risk or something.

Firefox has it right in telling you that there is a security risk using 'Autofill'.
There are lots of articles on the Internet about the problem. The following is an example :-
