Problems Deleting Browsing History

In the past this has been easy, following the instructions kindly given by answerers (?)of this section. Trying to do this now, though, it doesn't work; when I click on History (this is in Google Chrome)I don't get the usual options, just a 'recently closed' box. I'm wanting the 'delete from the beginning of time' option. Have I clicked myself into an alternative universe by mistake, or is there a new way of doing it? Still using Windows 7.

Thanks, both of you. CAC, that's the instruction I'd been following, but the correct box didn't appear, which I why I wasn't getting anywhere. Murraymints, that worked. I don't have a 'Tools', but 'more tools' did it. Now I can start to fill it all up again...
