Adobe Reader Has Found An Error
4 Answers
Hi, I'm totally new to Adobe and trying to find some advice.
How do I deal with the Adobe Reader error message, Adobe Reader has found an error it can't correct. It shows up for one PDF file but not others. Why does the program give me this pop up every time?
Thanks very much in advance for all your help,
Roy

Posts from new members about corrupt files have got a nasty habit of being followed by links from other new members to sites selling the magical 'repair' software that they just happen to know about. (i.e. it's poorly-disguised spam). If such a link appears here I'll simply delete this thread.
However, assuming for the moment that this is a genuine question, I'll echo O_G's post above. Although Adobe actually invented the pdf format, their software for accessing it is horrid, bloated and clunky. There are far better programs out there, which might well be able to handle the 'dodgy' pdf file. The most well-known one is Foxit Reader

but Sumatra PDF has an ever-growing fan base (including me and the writers in several technical journals)
