Mobile Number

Hi,Does anyone know of a way to retrieve the number from your mobile phone as I have just lost mine.

Phone a phone which shows incoming caller and note it.

If you mean your own number ring a landline then use landline and dial 1471

Is it an iPhone? If you click on phone and then Contacts your number will be at the top.

I was going to ask what phone is it? Mine certainly has my number in contacts and it's not an iphone.

This an old Motorola and a new prepaid SIM card and the phone number label was damaged by me whilst opening it.

I think you need the number to do that OG, I guess this is the problem. Can you put the Sim in someone else's phone and do the calling as per above?

If it is a 'pay as you go', get it topped up then phone someone, do as Baldric suggests.

I just buy a till roll version payment, dial the payment number and enter the number on the till roll.

Yes Prudie....you just go in a shop and ask for an amount for whatever network you use.

I keep an old PAYG as a spare, to top up I have a C/card sized card (does not show Phone number) which I pass to the Cashier (S/market) along with a tenner she sticks card in machine, job done.

One other forum suggested w"Text NUMBER to 2020". I make no claim for it though. I think many solutions depend on the service provider you're with, as they match your SIM number to your phone's IMEI. It's their database you need to access.
