Pairing Up Yr Mobile Phone To Bluetooth Speaker

Is this supposed to be easy?
Ive checked that the bluetooth is on.but still nothing

(Pairing an iPod and Logitech speaker) Is there a Bluetooth button on the speaker that you might have to press/hold down? Keep both devices within a few centimetres of each other helps too (Some devices have a Bluetooth hotspot or sweetspot) - hope I'm not stating the obvious there...

pressed the button down and held it down, still nothing. are they simply incompatible?

You may need to make your phone visible to other devices for pairing to take place.
