Put through to a lady, spoke very bad English very fast. She was very reluctant to provide a code until I absolutely insisted. Is it worth the trouble I ask.
If I get fast speakers in any language or can't understand what someone is saying on the phone for any reason, I repeatedly ask them to slow down and speak up. Its the law that companies MUST provide a PAC code on request. Pointing that out usually stops any "conversation" dead in its tracks.
I've just done it. I wanted to switch from vodafone and after offereing me increasingly better deals (about half-price in the end) I eventually go the code. Then had to wait while it got transferred to my phone (about 24 hours).
I thought about giving up and sticking with V, but got so irritated by them that I carried on.
I was with voda but after not using my phone for more than 90 days they stole my £18 credit. It was in the tersm and conditions, I still thought it a bit sneaky
