I have gmail and am able to get the list of emails however I am unable to access any of these emails I get a little note which says the following Something's not right.
We're having trouble connecting to Google. We'll keep trying...
Over the past 2 weeks this has happened and lo and behold their trying has worked but not now
I have a laptop Lenovo

Is the computer full?
There is no access
Any ideas how to solve would be a good help

Use the option given at bottom of screen while it is setting up,
"Set basic HTML as default view"
works just fine for me.

Are you using Chrome, is that your browser? the make of machine is ok, it what browser are you using, if it's Google Chrome, try this as it has been asked before on other sites and this seems to work
Try another/supported browser to see if the behaviour persists.
Try and check on a HTML mode. (as Baldric mentioned)
Clear cache, cookies and browsing history.
Temporarily disable any browser add-ons or extensions.
Temporarily disable the anti-virus checker.
Disable Labs.
