Are ASDA dvd recorders any good. I think they are duraband or cyber something, presently reduced to �69 ?

If it is a Cyberhome 1600 i had one, picture quality was **** so i took it back next one was still crap, it was very grainy but that could have been just a duff batch of them.on the whole i could not fault the working of the machine just the picture,but on the plus side they play Divx films and are firmware upgradeable.
So my answer really is try one for yourself you might get a good one and if it is really crap take it back and get a full refund.............nothing ventured nothing gained

I am interest in purchasing one of these, but would like to know if it is capable of recording Audio CDs as well as DVDs - does anybody know?
