Hotmail Problem

Trying to sign in to my Hotmail account (which is bookmarked) it goes to outlook.live.com as usual, then all I get is a white page with

[object ReadableByteStream]

in the top left corner.

Any ideas, please? Never happened before.

have you tried accessing hotmail through your search box?

Could be a browser issue. What are you using Chrome, Firefox, Edge?

Hmm. A bit of a forum here covering exactly this problem. Read it and take the advice given by the poster called "LordAlukard ". ie. Do not download anything if you open the links provided. But it does give some ways to resolve the problem.

Thanks for that. Will try later clearing cookies and browsing history, but reluctant to do it as it's so long since I signed out of my Hotmail account, I'm not 100% sure I can remember the correct password for it!

Hi all. Followed the advice of OlivierPETIT2 on Togo's link, and it seems to have sorted it. Thank goodness, as I use it a lot - fingers crossed....

Nice one. Those Microsoft forums can sometimes turn up trumps. Now sort your password issue out whilst you have access. There is a "forgotten password" facility in account maintenance and you should be able to select a new one if you cannot remember the old.
