Screen Going Into Negative

Hello there
I have noticed that my screen started to 'go negative' when I was closing down programmes or just after saving word documents etc., a few weeks ago.

More recently, I have noticed that it flashes 'negative' occasionally for a few seconds when the PC is idle and when I am not actually doing anything on it.


Anyone have any ideas? Is this a serious issue?

Check the cable connection, and plugs are in ok.
