is there a device that can make well formed DTDs from a list of elements

i am trying to write a dtd for a large document. I have pinpointed the elements i need and their child elements but cannot work out how to write it properly in altova. Is there anything that can help?

Document Type Definitions are really quite outdated now. XSDs are the norm nowadays.

certainly XSDs are better, yes. Just might do more than what ludditefreak wants; DTDs may suffice.
