Can someone please talk me through how to print out the size i want.No matter what setting I put in they all come out wrong but the same.Thanks.

What model of printer is it?
What operating system are you using?
What software are you using?
How is the printer connected? To be fair, that oughtn't matter.

Sorry about that!!! I;m using HP deskjet 2630 printer. Pixlr editing prog The printer is connected via usb

OK. How are you trying to resize the image that is printing the wrong size? I don't know Pixlr, but this might help:

Thanks jmf I've done all the sizing that I want ,but when it comes to the printing that things go wrong I must be missing something ,as in my original post the re-sizing isn't reflected in the printing.

It might be that the printer driver is corrupted and needs reinstalling. Is it possible with Pixlr to save the file in other format, e.g. PDF? That would at least get you closer to where the problem lies.

Where are you trying to set the size? Within Pixlr or within the setting for the printer's driver? It's probably the latter that should be the important one. (i.e. forget about the setting in Pixlr and concentrate upon those you'll find after clicking on 'Printer Properties' (or whatever else it is that you see) in the dialogue box after you've pressed Ctrl-P.

Alternatively, do as I do when I want an exact image size (e.g. for framing) and import your image into a blank Word document (or, for greater flexibility, into a fresh document in a DTP program) and then print that document.
