im admin on both so im allowed access
ive tried my password for the sign in screen and a few others

its asking for a password but it wont accept any of them!

tried online instructions but theyre not helpful

Have you set up a "Homegroup"? That seems to be the password it's looking for. You can set that up via the network settings buy I don't know the exact details for Windows 10.

ah ok, no i havent set anything up, its just me using these machines on my home wifi
there is a wifi password, but ive heard the term credentials before but never needed or used them, and never in relation to the wifi password.
i even signed them into my google account to try to connect that way, and they still wont work.

i will occasionally be using one out of the house
