I currently have an old G3 iMac operating onOS9.2. I am upgrading to a G5 iMac operating on OSX Tiger. What is going to be the easiest way to transfer my stuff from the old one to the new one?

Does your G3 have a CD writer? As far as i know, OS9 and OSX are not compatible with config files etc., so it'd just be a case of copying over your personal files.
