Help Please Amazon Fire Stick

Hello firestick isn't working it's coming up on screen etc not sure if it's the stick or remote not working changed batteries anything else I could try? Before I have to fork out for a new one. Any help much appreciated. Ali.

Unplug it and then plug it back in? That’s what I do when mine freezes.

Have you used your TV remote to go to the correct HDMI input on your TV?
You plug the Firestick into your TV in an HDMI slot at the back of your telly that is numbered.
Then you Set your telly to HDMI, 1, 2,3 or 4 wherever you have plugged it in.

Try sherrardk suggestion again. Take it out of the HDMI slot and unplug it from the mains. Wait a few seconds and reconnect. Always works for me too.

Well YouTube to the rescue! Now working fine held the home button down for 10 sec and hey presto ! Working great!
