Visuals On Zoom
3 Answers
Hi AB techies out there, have managed to get the embedded video issue solved on my husband's laptop, but can't seem to fix the issue with Zoom. It's working as it should be, other than the fact that he can't see any one on the screen/s. He can hear everything they're saying, just can't see them ... any suggestions folks? He's tried uninstalling and then re-installing, but that doesn't work ... he's tried all sorts of things (I am sure he's tried using is using another browser) - just doesn't work as it should, i.e. hearing and seeing everyone .... would be grateful for any suggestions. many thanks, cheers, Chox.

Rather than using a browser, download the Zoom app, which is available for most platforms.
If you go to the Zoom website, join one of their 'Test Meetings' and see if you get a video link working.
Unfortunately the Zoom support function does not appear to have a suggestion regarding this particular problem. It would seem that you can only test your own video output and incoming audio.
Do you have similar problems using your other devices, Ipad, mobile phones etc.; you can try this out by setting up a meeting between all your own devices. Don't have them too close together if the Audio is on, you will get terrible feedback. If it is just the laptop, check that the user profiles have been set up the same.
Does the laptop meet the minimum specification requirements set by Zoom?
