Heating System Room Thermostat Is Locked - Strom Ssrtel08

My elderly mum has somehow managed to lock the room thermostat on her heating system so is unable to turn the temperature up which she now needs to do.
We have tried removing the batteries and replacing them but this hasn’t helped
There is a small locked padlock symbol showing on the lcd screen

If you take the cover off there will probably be a re-set button ?

It will help if you do a factory reset. For this, remove the batteries from the thermostat and then insert them again. When the 'Wiser Thermostat' splash screen appears, press and hold the + and – buttons until Join a network is displayed and then release the buttons.
