I have a unlock code for a old phone of mine , a Huawei P9 lite, I obtained this from my previous subscriber 02, it says for me to put an invalid sim in which I've done but don't see anywhere I can enter a code ?

No, just a home page, I've done a full rest on it Tora thinking by clearing it altogether , an invalid sim would bring up the unlock code

sorry I'm confused, you put the sim in and it works?? can you make a call?? receive a call??

No, it comes up as mobile network not available , I'm wanting to give the phone to my niece

Have you tried O000 or abcd or other similar permutations

No cal, I would but I just get a home screen, I have a proper code though

If it's an invalid SIM then there would be no available network. Aside from that, it's all a mystery. Can only suggest checking the handset manual.

Which I don't have, I'll have to succumb to the experts I guess , and pay
