Listening To Radio Offline On Iphone 8

How can I listen to the radio on my iPhone 8. Without using data or wifi when out walking. I want to listen to my local BBC station. Are there any apps?

It gets streamed to your phone on account the phone isn't a radio so you'd need to record the program to your iphone...so you need a radio recording app not a radio app.

BBC Sounds and download the programmes you want whilst at home to play back whilst out (assuming your local BBC station is on there)

Some phones have an FM radio built into them. (It's not an app; it's additional electronic circuitry). Users of those phones usually need to listen to the radio via earphones, rather than through the speaker, as the earphone cable doubles up as an antenna.

However the iPhone 8 does NOT have an FM radio built into it, so you CAN'T use it to receive signals from your local radio station's transmitter. The ONLY ways to receive the data are via wi-fi or through your mobile provider's data plan.
