Samsung A40. I suddenly lost a load of photos from my Gallery, although new ones are loading ok now. I thought I might try uninstalling and reinstalling but when I go into Uninstall, it says ‘This app is no longer compatible with your device’. Why is this? Apart from losing photos it is ok now! The phone is around two years old. I also have Google photos which works fine. No technical answers please. Also if I do try to uninstall and reinstall, do I need a password cos I can’t remember it !
