Gmail

I use hotmail on my laptop and gmail on my phone for emails. Both have displayed the same up to now, but my gmail has for some reason changed the display, the inbox looks the same, but under the SENT folder it has grouped things differently, and I cant see any logic. I simply want a list of emails I have sent in date order, the most recent last, just as it is on my hotmail. I have looked under Settings but cant make any sense of it. Any ideas please??

PS to above, have just realised that what is shown under SENT are all items with attachments, most very old, except the first two which are messages sent today, hope this makes sense to someone.

PS sorry about this, in my original post I said I want the list to be the most recent last, I meant of course the most recent first, at top of the list.

Try this:
Settings
General settings
Uncheck "Conversation view"

Thank you The Chair, but it is already unchecked, in fact there is nothing ticked in General Settings.
