A factory reset does exactly what it says on the tin, i.e. returns a machine to exactly how it was when it left the factory.
A data recovery service may be able to recover your files, but don't count on it.
Alternatively, just restore from last night's backup.

You may have a chance if you had anything backed up in the cloud with one drive. Or you may be able to go into settings and effect a recovery(long shot) or you could try one of the "recovery" tools that are available. I would, if I were you, do some research into your options before trying. You will perhaps only get one shot. If you or family members have another device I would use that to help in making the decision and not try a scattergun solution on the laptop.
Another bit of gentle advice xwordmad, if you are not fairly teched up and know exactly what you are doing, then you may be better off switching it off and taking it to a reputable repair shop. All the solutions and apps that are out there require a bit of knowledge and some choices. I have not linked any of the sites that profess to do what you want but if you want a couple I will.
